Election Campaigns Stepped Up Ahead Of Final Weekend Of Canvassing

Political parties are intensifying their campaigns as they head in to the final weekend of canvassing ahead of next Friday's Poll.

Seven days to go and the parties are upping the anti.

Fianna Fáil is promising to hire an extra 2,500 teachers over the next five years. 

According to Party spokesperson Charlie McConalogue, The plan would cost 105 million euro and see class sizes reduced to 23 to one.
