Eight Clare primary schools are to benefit from the government’s largest ever initiative to replace rented prefabs with permanent accommodation.

35 million is to be spent on providing the new accommodation at almost 200 schools nationwide.
Here in the county, work is to be carried out at schools in Inch, Kildysart, Parteen, Ennistymon, Cratloe, Shannon, Tulla and Kilrush. The Convent Primary School in Gort will also see their prefab replaced.
