The process of tracking down the thousands of people who failed to pay the household tax by Saturday night’s deadline is expected to get underway in the coming days

Over 805-thousand people had registered by Saturday’s midnight deadline.
The head of the Local Government Management Agency Paul McSweeney says he can’t comment on a question of whether the government had rushed the scheme.
However, he says that if his agency is required for the introduction of the forthcoming property tax – they’d need more time for that.
