Major Investment In Skills Training For Mid-West To Be Announced Today

A major investment in skills training for the Mid-West region is being announced today.

The Minister for Further and Higher Education, Simon Harris and Minister of State for Skills and Further Education Niall Collins are opening the new NZEB Retrofitting Centre of Excellence in Limerick.

There they’ll announce the purchase of new training buildings for the Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board.

They’ll also deliver funding for the fit out of a major new facility for engineering students and apprentices at the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) Coonagh Campus and visit Mary Immaculate College for discussions on how to progress a proposal for the new Library building.
