Ennis Mother Concerned Special Needs Children Are Being Ignored In Fight For School Places

An Ennis mother is expressing concern that children with special needs are being ignored in the lottery system for places in secondary schools.

It follows news that emerged last week, in which it was revealed that there is a serious capacity issue in secondary schools in the county town.

Up to 40 pupils due to finish primary school in the coming weeks are said to still be awaiting confirmation of a spot in an Ennis secondary school for this coming September.
