Clare Government TD Disappointed That ‘Meaningful’ Discussions With Teachers Over Vaccine Didn’t Happen

Clare’s Fianna Fail TD is expressing disappointment that what he’s described as ‘meaningful’ discussions on changes to the vaccine priority list have not happened.

Taoiseach Michael Martin and Education Minister Norma Foley have both reiterated that there are no plans to deviate from an age-based system, based on NIAC advice.

It’s after all three major teachers’ unions here supported a ballot of industrial action up to strikes if the list isn’t amended.
