The Education Minister is visiting Shannon today to officially announce stronger ties between Shannon College of Hotel Management and NUI Galway.

Jan O'Sullivan will announce that the Shannon college which was founded in 1951 is to be incorporated into the Galway University.
There have already been some links between the two colleges over the past two decades.
Shannon College offers two honours bachelors degrees in business studies and hotel management.
