The Minister for Education has extended her sympathy to the family of a boy who passed away in hospital after sustaining serious injuries in a crash in County Clare.
Dylan Coady Coleman died yesterday in Temple Street hospital, after he was struck by a van in Purcell Park, Shannon on Sunday.
Minister Norma Foley has described the 4th class student as a “much loved and treasured member of his school community”.

She adds the wellbeing of the school’s students, staff and community is of “paramount importance” now, and the National Education Psychological Service is providing support to those who need it.
