Education Minister Doesn’t Believe Teachers Strike Will Be Averted

The Education Minister says there's 'no indication' tomorrow's strike action at secondary schools around the country won't go ahead.

Hundreds of schools will be affected when ASTI members down tools in the first day of their industrial action campaign.

Talks are scheduled to take place once again later, but officials from the union and the department of education aren't expected to make enough progress to call off the action.
