The Education Minister has ruled out meeting a group from Quin National School, who have been seeking money to construct a PE Hall.

Works to provide 8 permanent classrooms at Scoil Na Mainistreach will finished by the end of the year – school representatives and parents though also want around 340 thousand euro to allow for a sports hall to be built as well.
However, Minister Jan O'Sullivan has told TDs that school accommodation must receive priority in her Department's capital budget.
She has promised to keep Quin's application on file in the event that further funding becomes available.
