The CEO of Shannon Chamber is expressing hope that the addition of 100 new jobs in Shannon will stimulate growth in the medtech sector in this region.
Modular Automation announced yesterday that it will begin recruiting for the positions immediately, with all of the jobs set to be filled by 2023.
Ireland is currently the second-largest exporter of medical devices in the EU and many of the world’s leading medtech firms have already based themselves here in the Midwest.
