Renewable Director Says Job Creation To Come From Project Off Clare Coast

A senior director with an energy company set to embark on an offshore wind project off Clare’s coast says the works will create jobs in the county.

It’s after Mainstream Renewable Power, one of the world’s leading renewable energy companies, announced it’s currently developing a site 20 kilometres from the coastline.

The firm says it has the potential to power all of the county’s electrical output with clean and locally-sourced energy.
