The number of employment permits issued to companies in Clare more than doubled last year.
Figures from the Department of Enterprise show 332 permits were issued in this county in 2022, compared to 138 throughout 2021.
The system permits the holder to be employed in the State in a broad range of occupations if they’re coming from outside of the European Economic Area.
