Jobs Boost For Ennis As Vitalograph Announces €10m Expansion

Vitalograph is to establish a new site in Ennis and create 200 new jobs in the Midwest over the next two years.

The medical device company is to invest €10 million in an expansion of its operations.

Vitalograph has been based in Ennis since 1974, and currently manufactures out of the Gort Road.

The firm is a global leader in respiratory diagnostics and delivers clinical trials to pharmaceutical companies worldwide.

The company says its clinical trial solutions have doubled in the last two years.

It’s announced this morning it’s to establish two new sites, at the Clare Technology Park as well as the Engine Innovate Building in Limerick.

The €10 million investment will create 200 new jobs by 2024.

Vitalograph’s CEO, Frank Keane, says their expansion gives them “an opportunity to leverage the diverse talent pool in the Midwest region”.

The new jobs will be in the areas of data analysis, site support services, software engineering and IT support.

Recruitment for the roles is already underway.
