A new jobs boost for Ennis is set to create a multi-million euro windfall for the county town over the next decade.

It’s after medical device company Vitalograph’s purchase of a property in Ballymaley Business Park was given the green light by Clare Councillors last evening.

The transaction is seen as a significant milestone in the Ennis 2040 plan, and sees the Council recoup €1.2 million for the site.

Chief Operating Officer of the Ennis 2040 DAC, Kevin Corrigan, says the development is a big step forward for the town.
