Parents in Clare are now shelling out over €165 per week on average in childcare costs.
Data collected from 4,000 centres across the country show average full-time fees are now costing €184 per week, meaning Clare is well below average.
However, it’s the highest figure in the Midwest though just 2 cent per week more than the average cost in Limerick.
