407 people in Clare have closed their Pandemic Unemployment Payment in the past week.
It means there are now 4,105 people claiming the state support in this county, a 71% decrease on May’s figures.
It comes despite a small rise in numbers last week.

Nationally, just under 206,000 people will receive the payment today.
Donegal, which has been on Level 3 restrictions along with Dublin, will see an extra 2,000 people get the payment.
It’s the only county to register a rise in the past seven days.
