30 jobs are to be created in the Midwest, following announcement by Bosch that it’s to establish an Automative Research and Development Centre in Limerick.

Bosch has cited the rich history in design and development of semiconductor products, going back almost 50 years, as one of its reasons for establishing the centre in the Midwest.

It says the move recognises the increased demand for semiconductors, as cars evolve to become sustainable, safer and more exciting.

The roles will be primarily in engineering and will be available over the next two years.
