The Children's Minister says he's delighted with an interim judgement by the European Court of Justice, which clears the way for plain packaging for tobacco.

While the Opinion is non binding, James Reilly says big tobacco has failed to derail Irish plans to introduce plain packaging next May.
The ECJ says last year's EU Directive on plain packs was lawfully adopted, and does not infringe competition and free market rules.
