ECB expected to intervene in Eurozone Crisis

The European Central Bank will meet in Frankfurt today, amid growing speculation that they’ll intervene in the Eurozone crisis.

It’s understood the Eurozone’s bailout fund – with the ECB as its agent – could buy bonds at auction to drive down Spain’s cost of borrowing.

The ECB chief Mario Draghi says he’s prepared to "do whatever it takes" to save the single currency.
