An East Clare school has been approved for a refurbishment.
Inis Cealtra National School in Mountshannon has been approved for a project of works by the Department of Education.

The development will see the addition of a new mainstream classroom and special education teaching room.
The school currently caters for 74 children in just three classrooms.
