An East Clare resident has been appointed the new Chair of the Culture Ireland Expert Advisory Committee.
Ogonnelloe’s Louise Donlon has been appointed by Catherine Martin, T.D.

Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media today, Louise has worked at the forefront of arts administration for three decades, serving as a member of the Arts Council and on the board of Siamsa Tíre, while she’s also the Executive Director of the Lime Tree Theatre | Belltable in Limerick.
She was appointed as a member of Culture Ireland’s Expert Advisory Committee in 2021 and her appointment as Chair to the committee is effective from now until the end of 2026.
