East Clare has the the lowest uptake of a third Covid-19 booster vaccine when compared to the rest of the county.
Only 5% of people in Killaloe opted to receive the third dose as of November.
The third Covid-19 booster vaccine is only available to those over the age of 65 or those over 12 years of age who are immuno-compromised.
On average in Clare, almost 6.5% of people across the county availed of the third booster in November.
The highest uptake of the vaccine was in North Clare where 8% of the population received the jab.
Vaccine uptake in Clare has been waning with each additional booster.
Almost 92% of those over 12 years-old in the banner received the primary two doses.
59.4% opted for the first booster vaccine, while 20.6% received the second booster.
It comes as respiratory illnesses, including Covid-19, flu and RSV are circulating widely within the MidWest region.
