East Clare Included In New Tourism Brand

A new tourism brand which has been developed by Fáilte Ireland is looking to drive more visitors to East Clare.

The River Shannon is at the centre of what’s been billed as ‘Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands’, which is encouraging tourists to explore the regions lakes and walkways.

A series of food networks and trails will also be developed as part of the new brand.

The ‘Hidden Heartlands’ area runs from Leitrim down to East Clare and Killaloe, and will complement other key brands including the Wild Atlantic Way.
