The Masterplan’s implementation is being led by Waterways Ireland and Fáilte Ireland with 10 Local Authorities – including Clare County Council – along the River Shannon and Shannon-Erne Waterway.
Head of Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands, Paddy Matthews, believes East Clare could benefit significantly from the plan when it comes to fruition.
