An East Clare B&B owner is calling on the local authority to assist the industry once tourists begin to flock to the county again this summer.
It’s set to be the first summer season in three years that will present some sort of normality to the tourism sector after most COVID-19 restrictions were lifted earlier this year.

B&B Ireland say three quarters of owners have expressed confidence in how the industry will perform throughout 2022.
However, Teresa Browne, who runs the Clareville House B&B in Tuamgraney, says there aren’t many younger operators starting out in the sector.
