Organisers of the Willie Clancy Summer School say the event will go ahead in full to mark its 50th anniversary this summer.
The event has taken place virtually for the last two years on account of the pandemic, though physical classes and workshops are now planned for between the 2nd and the 10th of July.

The festival traditionally attracts large crowds of people to the Miltown Malbay area, and often provides for significant turnover in the town’s hospitality outlets.
Harry Hughes, who’s Administrator of the Willie Clancy Summer School, says significant planning for the week is already underway.
