Over 2,000 Clare businesses have received supports under the government’s Restart Grants scheme.
Clare County Council says it has paid out around €9 million to 2,026 businesses, as part of the support which was established in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, this means that €3.85 million remains unclaimed under the Restart Grant and a further scheme, Restart Grant Plus, which has been made available to businesses that could not apply for the original scheme/
Applications for that programme remain open until the end of this month.
