Over €90,000 in funding has been available for Clare projects under the community monuments fund.
The scheme which aims to support the conservation, maintenance, protection, and promotion of local monuments and historic sites will fund four heritage sites in the Banner county.

€30,000 in funding has been awarded to Moynoe Church and Kiloo Chruch respectively, Kileedy Church has received €25,000, while €7,454 has been allocated for works at Kilfenora Cathedral.
The initiative will provide €8 million in total for the completion of 140 projects nationwide.
