More Than €776K In Funding Granted For Clare Towns And Villages

Close to 800,000 euro in Government funding has been granted for Clare to help breathe new life into rural towns and villages.

27 million euro has been allocated nationally under the Town and Village Renewal Scheme, with the biggest allocation for this county, of just under quarter of a million euro, going to a public realm project in Cappa, Kilrush.

A project to improve the public realm in Ennistymon will receive in excess of €226,000, while more than €151,000 will go towards the development of the Quin Village Park.

An additional 100,000 goes to Lisdoonvarna under the Streetscape Enhancement Measure, with Killaloe receiving €49,500 under the Project Development Measure, for the redevelopment of the Courthouse.
