Visually impaired musicians will join up with the Irish Memory Orchestra for a major €73,000 symphony next year.
The grant from Clare County Council’s Arts Office has been awarded to the first-of-its-kind project, which will be performed at Glór next year.

The Irish Memory Orchestra is the only one in the western world that performs from memory, while visually impaired singers and musicians will join them on stage for the unique display.
Composer Dave Flynn and the participating musicians will work together on the project, with the finished symphony to be ready for 2019.
