Over €700,000 In Funding For Clare Sports Clubs

Clare sporting organisations are set to benefit from over €700,000 in government funding.

The allocation will be dished out to twenty-seven different groups in this county under the Department of Sport’s 2023 Capital Programme.

The Burren Sub Aqua Club will gain the most with €70,000 for new diving and snorkelling equipment, while Kilmihil GAA Club is to receive over €63,500 to upgrade its facilities.

Over €51,000 is earmarked for Clare Water Safety , while over €40,000 is going to Eire Óg GAA Club for universal access gym equipment.

On the soccer front, there’s €47,000 for Sporting Ennistymon and a further €43,000 has been allocated to the Clare schoolboys and schoolgirls leagues.
