Over €640,000 has been granted to Clare County Council to retrofit social housing across the county.
24 units in Clare have been earmarked for the upgrades under the Department of Housing’s Energy Efficiency Retrofitting Programme.
Retrofitting involves making homes more energy efficient and helping to save money on electricity bills.
