€6,000 worth of drugs have been seized by Gardaí following the search of a house in Ennis.
Last Monday, the Divisional Drugs Unit conducted a seach under warrant of a house in the county town, where the suspected cannabis herb was seized.

A man in his late twenties was arrested and detained at Ennis Garda Station, but has since been released and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
All suspected controlled substances have been forwarded to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.
