Almost €60,000 is to be awarded to Tidy Towns committees across Clare to continue their work for the year ahead.
The boost will go towards around 40 committees around the Banner County and can be used to buy equipment or cleaning supplies, to help in their community work.

It follows on from the success of Clare Tidy Towns at this year’s national awards, where Ennis and Kilrush both walked away with Gold Medals.
Clare Fine Gael Senator Martin Conway says it’s a welcome boost for the volunteers.
