Almost 50,000 euro in lottery grants has been allocated to community and voluntary organisations in Clare for health-related and social care services.

25,000 euro will go towards the cost of expanding the Carrigoran House nursing home in Newmarket on Fergus, while a further 20,000 will be given to Clare Accessible Transport for the purchase of a new bus.
The final 2,900 euro in grants will fund two exercise programmes for the Clare branch of Arthritis Ireland.
It's part of a 2.7 million euro National Lottery fund which is being divided amongst 120 organisations across the country.
