€44m Investment In Development Of Driverless Cars To Create 50 Jobs In Galway

A 44 million euro investment into the development of driverless cars will see the creation of at least 50 jobs in Co. Galway

Valeo plans to increase staff at its plant in Tuam making it one of the largest research and development facilities in the country.

Minister of State for Rural Affairs Sean Canney has welcomed the announcement and says it shows Ireland can provide global companies with skilled workers and the necessary infrastructure in rural and regional locations.
