€445,000 in funding has been granted to six harbours across Clare.
Bournapeaka, Seafield, Doolin, Carrowmore, Doonmore and Carrigaholt will all receive a cut of this funding, which has been announced today by Minister for Agriculture Charlie McConalogue.

It’s understood the funding will go primarily towards repair and upgrade works at the six facilities.
75% of the awarded funding will come from the Department of Agriculture, with the balance being met by Clare County Council.
