Around 40 thousand euro is to be spent on sprucing up Ennis ahead of the Fleadh.

75 applications have been made for a new Streetscape Improvement Scheme, that will see improvement works carried out to the front of buildings in the town centre.
The Council has granted funding to help with the cost of the works, which are to be completed ahead of the world-famous traditional music festival here next month.
Ennis Fianna Fáil Councillor Pat Daly is pleased to see such a high uptake on the scheme.
