Over €350,000 In Government Funding Allocated To Clare GAA Clubs

Clare’s Fine Gael Senator is hailing a major funding boost for sporting organisations in the county as a firm commitment to keeping rural Ireland alive.

Under the Clár programme, eight GAA clubs along with one national school here will share in a pot of €357,329 to upgrade their facilities.

Michael Cusacks, O’Callaghan’s Mills, Killanena, Naomh Eoin and Smith O’Briens GAA Club in conjunction with Killaloe N.S. received €50,000 each, while Clondegad and Feakle obtained €34,500 and €23,000 respectively.
