More than 34 million euro in funding has been set aside for local and regional roads in Clare.
Nearly a third of the funding provided by the Department of Transport to Clare County Council for 2022 will go towards restoration improvement works.

Almost €900,000 has been set aside for drainage works throughout the county, with a further €683,000 earmarked for climate change adaptation adjustments.
The allocation is an increase of around 4 percent on the funding set aside for Clare by the Department last year.
