Around 325,000 euro has been allocated towards repairs on minor roads across Clare. 

A total of 27 applications have been made in the county under the Community Improvement Scheme with 16 of those receiving approval. 

Of these,10 are in the Killaloe Municipal area, with 5 in West Clare and 1 in Shannon. 

Sixmilebridge Councillor Alan O'Callaghan explains that the funding is secured with the help of the local community.
