Over €260,000 in funding has been granted to improve the homes of older and disabled people across Clare.
It’s part of an €18 million package announced by government under the Disabled Persons Grant Scheme and Improvement Works In Lieu of social housing scheme.

The investment will go towards grab rails, disabled access ramps and downstairs bedrooms for Clare’s elderly.
Welcoming the announcement, Inagh-based Green Party Senator Roisin Garvey says it’s timely given current COVID-19 restrictions.
