More than €26.5 million in funding has been allocated to Clare to assist the repair of regional and local roads here.
That’s a 12% increase on the €23.5 million granted to this county last year and is a jump of €12 million on the 2017 figure.

It will go to a number of projects around the county – €8 million has been earmarked for the Shannon Crossing and a further €100,000 towards the Limerick Northern Distributor Road, while over €770,000 will be spent on upgrading bridges.
