Five Clare primary schools are to receive a total of over €200,000 for massive overhauls of their playgrounds under the government’s CLÁR funding scheme.
It’s the second phase of funding for this year’s programme and builds on the €66,000 allocated to community schemes around the county a week ago.

Doolin, Dromindoora, Labasheeda, Rineen and Coore National Schools will all benefit under the current round.
