Over €2 Million Spent So Far On Ennis 2040 Projects

Over €2 million has so far been spent on projects under the Ennis 2040 plan.

Following the incorporation of the designated activity company in 2020, it was granted a €10 million loan by Clare County Council to finance a planned works programme for the Ennis 2040 Economic and Spatial Strategy.

As of December 2023, €2.2 million of this has been drawn down to cover the design, planning and progression of a number of projects including developments on the Abbey Street, Francis Street, Harvey’s Quay and Post Office Field sites.
