Almost €1.3 million in funding has been announced for emergency road repairs in Clare.
The allocation was made today by Minister for Road Safety Jack Chambers to address roads damaged by persistent rainfall over the winter and spring months.

The funding comes as part of €30m distribution nationwide.
At the April meeting of Clare County Council, councillors heard an additional €13.5m was needed to bring the county’s road network up to standard.
