Ennis is set to benefit from a major funding boost that will aim to revive heritage in the town centre.
A total of €194,473 has been awarded to the county town today under the first strand of the Town Centre First Heritage Revival Scheme (THRIVE).
It’s part of a €5m distribution by the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage to twenty-six successful communities nationwide.
The funds will be allocated to Clare County Council and will go towards the preservation and restoration of publicly owned vacant and derelict historical buildings.
