Just over 140,000 euro in funding has been allocated for the development of Community Centres and Facilities in Clare.
It comes as an additional five million euro has been announced as part of the July Stimulus Package, under the Community Enhancement Programme.
It’s in addition to 2 million euro in funding provided earlier this year.

The Minister of State for Community Development, Joe O’Brien says the funding will be administered by each area’s Local Community Development Committee to ensure that decisions are made locally to best reflect the needs in a given area.
