New figures show University Hospital Limerick has had the highest overspend of any hospital in Ireland so far this year.

The Irish Examiner reports that the region's main hospital is 18% or 11.2 million euro over budget up to the end of May.
As a whole, the UL Hospitals Group has seen spending exceed limits more than any other region, even though Ennis General is 4% or 297 thousand euro under budget.
